The 1950's came on with the 1950 Callahan HOF Set, producing Hall of Fame members from the beginning of baseball until 1956. The 1951 Bowman set produced rookie cards of legendary greats; Mickey Mantle, Willie Mays, Nellie Fox, Monte Irvin, Whitey Ford, and Billy Pierce. Then came the company that would change the industry forever, Topps. The 1952 Topps set is the most icon sets in all of collecting, contains Rookie Cards of HOF Hoyt Wilhelm and Eddie Mathews. The rest of the decade followed suite with the Topps brand from 1953 - 1959, producing rookie cards of some of the greatest players to ever play; Banks, Aaron, Kaline, Koufax, Killebrew, Drysdale, Brooks & Frank Robinson, Roger Maris, Cepeda, and Bob Gibson.
